I think I get RDF now.

After reading this.

That's a google nuke

But what's up with the new #1 Dave? Methinks there's a kink in the algorithm somewhere. [diveintomark.org]

Try this search. This Dave created a multi router traffic grapher. And he made sure to link to his homepage using his name, on every page the tool generated. Thats 10,000 links. Sure, Google knows of more than 20,000 links to scripting.com, but the links apparently say Scripting News more often than Dave Winer.[ Sjoerd Visscher]

That's not a google-bomb, that's a google-nuke. I envy the deviousness of it all...

Am I on the circle or a tangent line...

Sam Ruby stated:

Paul Prescod provided some constructive comments and suggestions though. Paul's top comment is that the characters "method=" in the URL (note: not the design, but the characters themselves) make it less than perfect case study in REST. Weird. [Sam Ruby]

Which brought the reply:

I think Paul's comments are really helpful. The 3 values for "method=" provide 3 totally different services, each requiring different parameters. It makes a lot of sense to make 3 URLs for each service.[ Sjoerd Visscher]

Okay, now that's an example simple enough for me to follow. Now does this come back full circle one of Sam's first essays What Object Does SOAP Access?

What I'd like to see

I complained a little on Tuesday about the lack of tools on the EFF site without giving much detail. Here are some of the tools I would like to see:

Regional Message Board
For example, a place for all of us in the 4th district to talk about our representative and effective ways to lobby him. It would also be a great place to get your letters to your representative reviewed before sending them off. For example, I took the CDTBPA form letter on the EFF site and modified it to include references to the recently introduced bill that legalizes MPAA and RIAA vigilantism. It would have been nice to have a place to swap ideas on what, or how, to say things.
Voting Records
A place to look up my Representatives and Senators voting history on core EFF issues.
Lobbying Kits
Information packs on the best way to lobby for or against up coming legislation.
A Million Bit March Signup
I thought Larry Lessig had a great idea and I'm suprised more heat hasn't been generated on this.

Just in case you needed more proof.

In case you aren't convinced that the DMCA is fundamentally broken legislation and a danger you, yes you the blogger, you the professor, you the journalist, and you the consumer of any piece of digital content
