Nic-pup
Introducing Nic-pup, the latest addition to our growing line of hospital
accessories.
We know that careful and non-invasive monitoring of patients
in the
NICU (neo-natal intensive care unit) is of utmost importance. To that end
we
have introduced the Nic-Pup, a hybrid-engineered patient monitor and
care unit.
The Nic-Pup is a hybrid-engineered care unit with a host
of features including:
- Tissue engineered olfactory senses can detect even subtle changes in
the patients body chemistry.
- Auditory and low-energy ultrasonic sensors allow detailed non-invasive
patient vitals monitoring.
- Built in WiFi allows easy connection to hospital patient monitoring
systems.
The instinct enhancement of Nic-Pup is a prime example of our cutting edge
skills in
dendrite function mapping. Take for example the Nic-Pup's apnia reflex. Apnia
and
Bradycardia (stopping of breathing or heartbeat) are common problems with
preemies
which usually require a gentle rub on the back from a NICU nurse to restore
normal
functioning. The Nic-Pup's instincts have been enchanced to provide that
same
gentle stimulation.
Requirements
Nic-Pup is designed to fit seemlessly into the NICU and to that end only requires
a single
input of a saline/sucrose solution to keep the engineered tissues functioning
and to also
provide power to the on-board systems using a built in sugar-to-hydrogen-via-enzyme
cracker
that feeds the off-the-shelf hydrogen fuel-cell. A single low-flow suction
line is all that's required
to remove Nic-Pup waste.
