The first Internet-Drafts of both the Atom Format and the Atom Publishing Protocol (previously known as the AtomAPI) are now available.

The .txt versions of the files served from http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts are the normative versions and should be the ones you link to when referrring to either the Format or the Protocol. With that understanding, alternate versions of the Publishing Protocol are available in HTML, XML and a side-by-side diff in HTML showing changes from the previous version. As usual all feedback must be routed to the atom-syntax mailing list.
