Fat Tuesday -- The Triangle Chefs Association, an accredited chapter of the national American Culinary Federation will host a benefit for the American Red Cross, Hurricane Relief efforts. The event will be held on Tuesday, September 27 at the RBC Center. Lunch and Dinner will be served by local area chefs through drive-thru lanes from 11 am - 7 pm.
Plates will be sold at $20 each and will contain: Chicken Creole, Blackened Catfish/Tilapia, Po' Boy Cabbage, Red Beans and Rice, Cornbread, Banana Pudding and a Beverage. 100% of the proceeds will go direclty to the Red Cross because of the generous donations of companies making this possible.
Lunch was excellent.
